About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Fund Accountant to join our team at GP Fund Solutions. As a Senior Fund Accountant, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Financial Reporting: Prepare and submit journal entries into cloud-based industry-specific accounting software, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  2. Treasury Functions: Reconcile bank accounts, process disbursements, and prepare cash reporting, maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
  3. Workpapers and GAAP Financial Statements: Prepare assigned workpapers for fund products within the quarterly reporting cycle and assist in the preparation of GAAP financial statements.
  4. Investor Inquiries and Capital Activity: Prepare and manage multiple ad-hoc investor inquiries and assist in the preparation of capital activity, including capital calls and distributions.
  5. Communication and Teamwork: Communicate effectively with clients and team members, fostering a collaborative environment and promoting the GP Fund Solutions culture.
Requirements
  1. Qualifications: ACA or ACCA qualified, with 2-3 years of experience in fund accounting or a related field.
  2. Skills: Proficiency in software related products such as Microsoft Excel, strong organizational and time management skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  3. Leadership and Management: Previous leadership or management experience, with a proven track record of delivering results and fostering a positive team culture.
Preferred Qualifications
  1. Master's Degree: A Master's degree in accounting or a related field is highly desirable.
  2. CPA: Holding a CPA certification is a significant advantage.
  3. Private Fund Administration Experience: Previous experience in private fund administration is highly valued.
