About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Facilities Development Specialist to join our team at SEGULA Technologies. As a key member of our engineering division, you will be responsible for introducing new facilities, material product lines, and vehicle freshening programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess the feasibility of new facilities and processes, managing projects for cost, quality, and timing.
- Provide necessary capability and capacity at facilities and equipment to meet program milestones, launch plans, and production needs.
- Develop engineering solutions tailored to facility capabilities and process characteristics.
- Create efficient layout solutions to support facility projects or operational enhancements.
- Coordinate stakeholders' input for successful handover of facilities.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing and other Engineering disciplines to meet cost and timing objectives.
- Manage project documentation in line with procedures, supporting audits.
- Lead procurement teams in line with company procedures.
- Track project KPIs and report to management regularly.
Requirements
Essential:
- Solid engineering and manufacturing background in facilities development and engineering.
- Experience in reliability, maintainability, and environmental impact assessment.
- Supplier management skills.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing tools.
- Experience in contract and performance management.
- Understanding of CDM regulations.
- Supplier selection and tender management experience.
- Working knowledge of electrical control systems and automated equipment.
Desirable:
- Degree or equivalent engineering experience preferred.
