Job Description

SYSTRA UK & Ireland is seeking a highly skilled Senior Transportation Consultant to join our Passenger Transport team in the Consultancy business. As a Senior Transportation Consultant, you will play a key role in delivering bus team projects across the UK, working closely with our existing team to provide a flexible and responsive approach to client demands.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the technical delivery of bus operations, network planning, and ticketing/information projects
  • Enhance your personal skills through continuous personal development to ensure the team is at the forefront of emerging techniques and technologies
  • Support other sectors within the SYSTRA Consultancy Division to deliver public transport elements within wider projects
  • Project management
  • Support business development initiatives
  • Identify and effectively communicate client/project objectives
  • Model quality assurance for investment/transaction decisions
Requirements
  • A degree in a relevant subject (Transport Planning, Maths, Science etc.) or Masters in Transport Planning – or equivalent experience
  • Significant Bus operations experience, including network planning and other commercial skills
  • Experience delivering ticketing and/or information projects
  • Established relationships with existing and potential clients in the public and private sector
  • Flexibility and ability to juggle competing project demands
