At Labcorp, we're committed to advancing science and improving lives. As an Animal Welfare Apprentice, you'll play a vital role in supporting our laboratory and study support functions. You'll work closely with our team to ensure the highest standards of animal care and welfare, while gaining a comprehensive knowledge of pre-clinical trials and the development of life-saving medicines.

The Role:

As an Animal Welfare Apprentice, you'll be responsible for providing assistance and support with the day-to-day care of various animal species. This will include tasks such as cleaning and disinfecting animal cages and rooms, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and collecting data. You'll also have the opportunity to work with our team to develop and implement enrichment programs for the animals in our care.

What You'll Receive:

We're committed to providing our apprentices with a comprehensive training and development program, including a Level 2 diploma in Laboratory Animal Science and Technology. Minimum Criteria:

We're looking for individuals who are passionate about animal care and welfare, and who are willing to learn and develop their skills. You'll need to be able to work independently as well as part of a team, and have excellent communication and attention to detail skills.
