Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced financial professional to provide high-quality management and control of the finance function at Rock UK, a multi-site Christian outdoor adventure charity. Reporting to the Finance Director, the post holder will work closely with members of the senior management team to facilitate the smooth operation of Rock UK's finances.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide financial management and control of the charity's finances, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Work closely with the senior management team to develop and implement financial strategies that align with the charity's mission and vision.
- Communicate effectively with staff, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure a clear understanding of the charity's financial position and goals.
- Manage and maintain computerized financial systems, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Provide financial analysis and insights to inform business decisions.
Requirements:
- Education to degree level or equivalent.
- Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
- Proficiency in using computerized financial systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Working Arrangements:
This is a permanent role, subject to satisfactory references, a DBS check, and a 6-month probationary period. The successful applicant will be required to work 25 hours per week, ideally 5 hours per day, Monday to Friday. The role is based at Rock UK's Head Office, with hybrid working arrangements in place.
Salary and Benefits:
The salary for this role is £36,030 per annum, pro rata, plus an 8% employer pension contribution.
