About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Organisation Development Consultant to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term contract or secondment. This role plays a pivotal part in enhancing both the 'hard' and 'soft' elements of our organisational system. You will be responsible for identifying, designing, and implementing change interventions that foster team and organisational performance, ensuring successful execution of the people plan, workforce strategy, and organisational goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement organisational development strategies to drive overall performance and growth.
  • Engage with stakeholders to drive change initiatives effectively, leveraging your expertise in complex conversations and stakeholder management.
  • Collaborate with the Organisation Design Consultants to align systems, processes, and culture, supporting the employee experience and driving business outcomes.
  • Provide expert advice and work with leaders and stakeholders to address organisational challenges, ensuring the successful delivery of people initiatives and strategic objectives.
  • Design and deliver organisation development interventions, including leadership development and cultural change programmes, to drive business impact and organisational transformation.
  • Utilise data and insights to inform the development of tailored OD solutions that align with strategic priorities and drive business outcomes.
  • Partner with People & OD teams to integrate OD practices into broader areas such as talent development, wellbeing, and employee experience, driving a culture of excellence and high performance.
  • Evaluate the impact of OD initiatives and recommend improvements for continuous development and growth.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of CIPD standards and ensure professional application of the consultancy model, driving excellence in organisational development and change management.
Requirements:
  • Educated to degree level in Organisational Development, HR, Psychology, or equivalent by experience.
  • Professional membership of CIPD at Chartered level or working towards it.
  • Experience managing complex cultural, behavioural, or systems issues through professional consultancy, with a proven track record of driving business outcomes and organisational transformation.
  • In-depth knowledge of organisation development and change theories, with successful practical application and a strong understanding of business acumen.
  • Experience in planning, designing, and evaluating OD interventions in large, complex organisations, with a focus on driving business impact and organisational transformation.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills, able to engage diverse audiences and drive change initiatives effectively.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to align initiatives with strategic priorities and drive business outcomes.
  • Working knowledge of current business technology and a willingness to adapt to new tools and systems.
