Bench Architects is a reputable architectural practice based in the Peak District, seeking a skilled Part 3 qualified Architect to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate should have a passion for historic buildings and conservation projects, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional architectural services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work on a variety of projects ranging from listed historic buildings to public structures, collaborating with stakeholders at every stage of the process.
  • Deliver high-quality architectural services, ensuring compliance with UK Building Regulations and Planning Policy.
  • Develop and maintain strong technical detailing skills, with a good understanding of RIBA Plan of Work stages.
  • Collaborate with the team to achieve project goals, utilizing strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Contribute to the development of innovative and sustainable design solutions, aligning with the company's focus on historic conservation and contemporary design.

Requirements

  • RIBA part III qualification (experienced Part II's will be considered with strong knowledge of Conservation/Historical Buildings repair).
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, with additional skills in 3D modeling and rendering being advantageous. Knowledge of SketchUp, Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator is essential.
  • Strong technical detailing skills and a good understanding of UK Building Regulations and Planning Policy.
  • Experience across all RIBA Plan of Work stages.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and a team player with good communication skills.
  • UK resident with a valid driving license.
  • Salary is negotiable based on experience and skills.
