Proactive Appointments is collaborating with a prominent financial services organization in the UK seeking a seasoned IT Program Coordinator with a background in TUPED transitions.

We are looking for a professional who possesses a comprehensive understanding of the IT workplace processes, which is highly advantageous.

Role Overview:
The Program Coordinator will be part of the Project Delivery team, reporting directly to an IT Portfolio Manager.

The primary objective of this position is to oversee the management of Workplace and various operational IT components within a broader program.

This role will likely require engagement with external partners as well as local and potentially global teams within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the initial phases of the project, including defining the necessary work with relevant teams and external vendors.
  • Take ownership of the project delivery, collaborating closely with the wider program team.
  • Ensure adherence to agreed budgets and timelines while maintaining the quality of deliverables and safeguarding current operational services.
  • Account for local UK and Group requirements, including governance standards, in planning and delivery.
  • Maintain up-to-date risk, issue, and decision logs, ensuring active management of these elements.

Qualifications:
Proven experience in managing IT projects, preferably within a Financial Services context.
Demonstrated expertise in managing Workplace-related IT initiatives.
Possess the stature and gravitas to engage effectively with senior stakeholders in IT and the broader business environment.
Exhibit strong leadership capabilities with a proactive and dynamic approach to foster commitment and build trusted, long-term relationships with stakeholders.
Extensive knowledge of project management methodologies, practices, and tools.
Possess relevant Project/Program Management Certification.

Strong commercial insight and business awareness are essential, along with a thorough understanding of relevant systems and processes. The ability to recognize the potential impact of projects and the confidence to propose innovative solutions is crucial.
