As a key member of the care team, you will be responsible for planning and delivering a range of engaging activities for residents, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being. You will work closely with the care manager to develop and implement activity programs, including organizing events and activities that promote social interaction, cognitive stimulation, and overall quality of life. Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver a range of engaging activities for residents, including arts, crafts, games, and outings
  • Work closely with the care manager to develop and implement activity programs
  • Organize events and activities that promote social interaction, cognitive stimulation, and overall quality of life
  • Collaborate with external partners to deliver activities and services that meet the needs of residents
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of activity programs and make recommendations for improvement

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively with residents, staff, and external partners
  • Experience of working in a care setting or a related field
  • Ability to plan and deliver activities that meet the needs of residents
  • Knowledge of adult learning principles and theories
