About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Nursery Teacher to join our team at Grandir UK's Dicky Birds Nursery in Surbiton. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in providing professional leadership and supporting the day-to-day operations of the nursery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create a nurturing environment that caters to the unique needs of all children
  • Maintain high-quality childcare practices by monitoring, evaluating, and improving our systems
  • Establish effective communication channels with children, staff, parents, and carers
  • Foster positive working relationships with staff and ensure open communication
  • Ensure that our nursery practices meet the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
  • Collaborate with staff to set and review individual targets
  • Assume additional responsibilities in playrooms and management when required
  • Manage costs within agreed budgets
