About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team at Kingsacre Care Home. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist residents with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
  • Assist with meal times and ensure residents' dietary needs are met
  • Participate in care planning and contribute to the development of individual care plans
  • Work collaboratively with the care team to ensure seamless delivery of care

Requirements:

  • SVQ 2 (Health & Social Care) or equivalent qualification
  • At least 6 months experience working as a Care Assistant or equivalent
  • Ability to work as part of a team and provide excellent communication skills
  • Willingness to learn and develop skills in dementia care and other areas of care

  • A competitive hourly rate of £12.10
  • 36 hours per week, with paid breaks
