Job Summary:

Midas is seeking a skilled CAD Engineer to join our team. As a CAD Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing new and existing products using computer-aided design (CAD) software.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop 2D and 3D CAD models using Inventor and AutoCAD.
  • Generate engineering and manufacturing drawings from 3D CAD models.
  • Oversee the production of 3D printed prototypes and refine designs based on testing outcomes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Machining, Welding, and Assembly Line departments.
  • Update and revise existing drawings to reflect design changes.
  • Develop and maintain service manuals and technical documentation.
  • Set up and maintain filing systems for drawings and ensure they are properly stored.
  • Prepare drawings for patent applications and other regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience as a CAD Engineer in an engineering or automotive environment.
  • Proficiency in Inventor and AutoCAD.
  • Strong understanding of design principles and engineering practices.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
