V7 Recruitment is currently working with a reputable and modern main contractor who is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their team in the North for a high-rise luxury apartments project.

This is a 6-month contract opportunity that requires a strong background in main contractor operations, with experience on high-rise projects being highly desirable.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A strong management background with experience in managing teams and projects
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients and project managers
  • A proactive and motivated work attitude, with a strong focus on delivering results
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage complex projects and budgets

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Travelling across the North to visit project sites and ensure smooth project execution
  • Procuring materials and subcontractors, and managing their payments and variations
  • Attending project progress meetings with clients and project managers to ensure project goals are met
  • Producing cost reports and managing project budgets to ensure financial stability
