We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Audit Assistant Manager to join our team in Birmingham. As a key member of our Audit team, you will be responsible for planning, performing, and completing audits for various assignments.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients through regular discussions and updates.
- Identify and highlight opportunities for improvement and growth within the organization.
- Provide training and guidance to junior staff members.
- Assess and evaluate the performance of audit teams.
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with audit and assignment procedures.
- Prepare and review draft accounts and reports, highlighting areas for improvement.
- ACA/ACCA qualification or equivalent.
- Proven experience in UK audit and accounts, preferably within a professional services firm.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to supervise and delegate work effectively.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
- Local market experience is a plus.
