About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Clinical Psychologist to join our dedicated team within NHS Scotland. As a key member of our Adult Psychological Therapies service, you will play a vital role in providing specialized assessment and treatment to adults experiencing mental health challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive psychological assessments and evidence-based treatments to adult patients referred to our service.
- Provide clinical supervision to colleagues within the Adult Psychological Therapies team, fostering their professional development.
- Contribute actively to training, teaching, and research initiatives within the field of psychology.
- Represent the Locality Co-ordinator as required, ensuring effective communication and collaboration across departments.

Essential Requirements:
- Post Graduate Doctoral level (or equivalent) degree in Clinical or Counselling Psychology.
- Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) as a Clinical or Counselling Psychologist.
- Demonstrated knowledge of NHS Scotland's policies, procedures, and national guidelines for optimal clinical care.
- Strong clinical skills and experience in providing evidence-based psychological interventions.
Working Pattern:
This is a part-time position, working 18.6 hours per week. The working pattern will be Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm pro rata.
