About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior CRM Executive to join our Halfords CRM team. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in assisting with the creation and development of Group communications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deputise for the CRM Manager for all trading requirements, supporting and developing the overarching BAU schedule.
  • Super user of the CRM toolkit, including Liveclicker and Marigold Content Designer, with a focus on personalisation capabilities.
  • Provide support to CRM Executives, offering guidance and problem-solving on projects.
  • Own the BAU testing plan, utilising the latest innovation and technology to create dynamic and highly personalised campaigns efficiently.
  • Apply segmentation techniques to select audiences for targeted emails, ensuring customers receive appropriate levels of contact.
  • Audit data to ensure customer behaviour is being targeted appropriately, inbox deliverability is maximised, and return on investment is optimised.
  • Regularly review email performance, providing fact-based recommendations to the business on CRM performance.
  • Ensure Group CRM is executed seamlessly across all channels, championing brand guidelines and tone of voice.
  • Collaborate with the creative agency to optimise emails for accessibility and convey messages in an engaging and relevant manner within the Halfords brand guidelines.
  • Conduct competitor reviews to establish best-in-class email & CRM activity.

Requirements

  • Experience working in a similar role, with a retail or services background an advantage.
  • Excellent organisational skills, managing busy campaign schedules and multiple workloads.
  • Ability to work at pace, often managing multiple campaigns and projects simultaneously.
  • Obsessive attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Confident individual with excellent communication skills and a relationship-building approach.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for customer-centricity.
  • Can-do attitude and determination to achieve results.
