Key Responsibilities
Oversee the operations team and manage daily activities effectively. Ensure compliance with product KPIs and provide regular updates on milestones. Foster relationships with key clients and suppliers, addressing concerns and collaborating with customer service, operations, and sales teams to resolve conflicts promptly. Direct Customs operations and execution on a national scale. Coordinate all international operations (Export, Import, and Customs activities), ensuring adherence to regulations and internal protocols. Guarantee that all Operations teams fulfill customer expectations and implement corrective measures when necessary. Offer guidance to Export, Import, and Gateway teams to align transactional operations with the overall business strategy and comply with local regulations. Monitor quality standards and ensure continuous improvement and optimization of operational processes. Cultivate a high-performance service culture within the Export and Import Departments. Achieve budgetary goals by establishing and tracking clear objectives. Manage interactions with Customer Service, Product, and Global Service Centers as needed. Support, negotiate, and manage contracts with Airlines and vendors for Air Product services. Develop and oversee the Air procurement strategy, including carrier selection and utilization guidelines. Lead engagement in carrier performance management. Direct station Exports, Imports, and Energy personnel to adhere to operational plans supporting air services. Accountable for the performance of a large multi-category department, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives, including strategy, cost management, and personnel oversight. Ensure that performance aligns with global and regional business needs.Physical Requirements

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills along with strong time management abilities. Proven initiative, sound judgment, and the ability to achieve results through teamwork. In-depth knowledge of contracting, negotiation, organizational development/change management, budgeting, action planning, and supervision are essential for success. Strong conceptual, analytical, judgment, and communication skills are critical. Strategic planning: ability to think ahead and plan over a 12–24-month horizon; strong customer focus and excellent interpersonal skills. Perform additional duties as assigned. Proficient in computer applications: Excel, Word, PowerPoint.Education and Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Business or a related field, or equivalent experience. Minimum of 4-5 years of direct experience and working knowledge in customs and brokerage entry processing. At least 4 years of experience related to trade compliance.Certification
Professional certification may be required in specific areas.
