We are a leading manufacturing company with a strong presence in the UK, operating multiple sites across the country. We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team of experienced professionals.

Job Summary

We are looking for a Maintenance Engineer with a strong background in mechanical engineering, preferably with experience working on conveyors, belts, pumps, gearboxes, and water systems. The ideal candidate will have a basic understanding of electrical systems, including fault finding and rewiring. A relevant NVQ Level 3 qualification in Mechanical or Electrical is essential, along with proven experience working on industrial machinery, preferably in a FMCG environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on industrial machinery, including conveyors, belts, pumps, and gearboxes.
  • Diagnose and repair electrical faults, including rewiring and fault finding.
  • Work on water systems, ensuring efficient operation and minimal downtime.
  • Collaborate with the team to achieve maintenance goals and objectives.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of maintenance strategies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Relevant NVQ Level 3 qualification in Mechanical or Electrical.
  • Proven experience working on industrial machinery, preferably in a FMCG environment.
