MacGregor Black is collaborating with a Prominent Lifestyle Brand to find a Senior Design Manager. This position is a permanent opportunity.
This role presents a thrilling chance to influence the trajectory of the footwear line and play a pivotal role in the brand's industry achievements.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the design and execution of all footwear lines, from initial concept to final production, ensuring a unified and inventive aesthetic.
- Perform comprehensive market analysis to remain at the forefront of industry trends and discover avenues for new product categories and designs.
- Lead and develop a team of designers, nurturing a collaborative and motivating workplace.
- Collaborate with merchandising and production teams to ensure designs are commercially viable and meet business objectives.
- Present design ideas and collections to internal stakeholders and contribute to marketing and sales initiatives.
- Maintain robust relationships with suppliers and manufacturers to procure high-quality materials and guarantee timely product delivery.
- Champion innovation and sustainability efforts within the design process, aligning with the brand's dedication to responsible fashion.
What are we looking for?
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in footwear design, focusing on innovative and commercially successful collections.
- Demonstrated success in leading design teams and delivering commercially viable collections.
- Strong creative vision with the ability to translate trends into market-ready products.

- Outstanding communication and presentation abilities.
