Location: Tower Hamlets, East London

Salary Scale: up to £100 a day

Contract: Temp to Perm

About the Role:

GSL Education is seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to support a Primary school in Tower Hamlets, East London. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in working with ASD individuals and small groups of Autistic children.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide 1:1 individual support for Autistic children
  • Support children with special educational needs
  • Work closely with Year 6 pupils to motivate and encourage them to reach their full potential
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant
  • Ability to support pupils who have Autism
  • Basic understanding of childhood development and steps to support children
  • Knowledge and ability to implement strategies to support ASD children
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
