About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Portfolio Officer to join our team at Riverside. As a key member of our housing management team, you will be responsible for delivering effective housing services to our customers and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver a range of housing services to specific properties within a designated patch, including allocations and lettings, income collection, and tenancy management.
  • Act as an account manager for third-party relationships, ensuring effective services are delivered to customers within a designated patch.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to carry out inspections, property viewings, and managing tenancy sign-ups and new tenancy visits.
  • Commission, direct, and influence other teams to resolve low-level anti-social behaviour issues, hate crimes, and issues impacting community cohesion.
  • Build effective and strong relationships with customers, identifying needs and aspirations, providing targeted housing support, and using customer intelligence to drive tenancy sustainability.
Requirements
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality customer service, preferably in the housing sector.
  • Effective stakeholder management, including the ability to successfully persuade and influence others.
  • Customer-focused with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work at all levels within the business.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality customer care services, including complex needs customers.
  • Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to work under pressure, deliver to strict deadlines, and manage conflicting priorities.
