We are seeking a Senior Embedded Systems Engineer to become part of a prominent organization within dynamic sectors. In this role, you will have the autonomy to manage your tasks while collaborating with a team of dedicated professionals.

Qualifications Required:

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
  • Proven experience in a manufacturing setting
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Firmware Development
  • Familiarity with Microcontroller technologies

Key Duties:

  • Design and enhance both new and existing products
  • Develop firmware for data logging and measurement systems
  • Implement CANBus (CAN/CANFD) and PWM control designs for targeted applications
  • Conduct electronic design as required
  • Ensure seamless integration of firmware with product specifications
  • Create and verify product documentation
  • Adhere to and contribute to best practices and industry standards
  • Collaborate effectively with the design team, providing guidance and mentorship

Essential Competencies:

  • Firmware development for Functional Safety related/SIL level systems
  • Experience with STM32 or Microchip Microcontrollers
  • Development of embedded graphical user interface applications
  • Proficiency in CANBus Protocol
  • Understanding of communication interfaces and timing
  • Industry experience in hazardous area systems, automotive, aerospace, or medical sectors
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Experience in report writing and data compilation
