About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Chef/Cook to join our team at Welford Healthcare. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for creating and preparing a varied and nourishing menu for our elderly residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement a menu that reflects the tastes and dietary needs of our residents.
  • Lead and support a team of kitchen staff to ensure high-quality food standards are maintained.
  • Manage the kitchen budget and resources to ensure efficient and effective operation.
  • Collaborate with the General Manager to develop and implement new menu ideas and culinary concepts.
Requirements
  • Recent experience of cooking for large numbers in a commercial setting.
  • Proven ability to manage and motivate a team of kitchen staff.
  • Experience of providing food for people with special dietary requirements.
  • Flexibility to work alternate weekends.
