Our mission is to provide compassionate support that enables people to lead fulfilling lives.
About the Role
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to join our team at our Woolston Supported Living home. This welcoming and thoughtfully designed home provides a personalized experience of support for four individuals with learning and physical disabilities, including those classified as having PMLD (Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities).
Your Responsibilities
As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in creating a positive and nurturing environment for our residents. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing personalized care and support tailored to each individual's needs.
- Assisting with daily living activities, such as personal hygiene, dressing, and meal preparation.
- Encouraging independence and fostering a sense of purpose through meaningful activities.
- Implementing behavior support plans and promoting positive interactions.
- Communicating effectively with residents, families, and colleagues.
