The Project: Our client is a prominent global financial institution with Corporate Real Estate (CRE) operations spanning over 60 countries, encompassing approximately 270 office buildings and around 2,500 branches. Their goal for the CRE function is to act as trusted advisors to their global businesses and functions, balancing service, cost, and risk. They aim to achieve this by collaborating with key strategic industry partners to introduce innovation and new working practices into their workplaces. Mace is one of these strategic partners, tasked with establishing an Independent Project Management Office (IPMO).
Role Requirements: This position is integrated within the client organization, necessitating in-office attendance three days a week.
Your Responsibilities:
- Foster and leverage relationships with internal functions and stakeholders, such as IT and marketing.
- Develop a comprehensive communications strategy and an annual communications plan in collaboration with the client.
- Coordinate the communications plan with Managed Delivery Partners (MDP).
- Facilitate the dissemination of communications, highlighting project design successes, best practices, and market insights.
- Encourage team collaboration through workshops, knowledge-sharing presentations, and contributions to team meetings.
- Collaborate with the video and photography team to ensure key content is captured effectively.
- Conduct research to provide relevant insights and analysis, staying informed about market developments and sharing knowledge with key stakeholders.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives or significant business enhancements.
- Utilize communications dashboard data to strengthen stakeholder relationships.
- Work collaboratively towards achieving net-zero carbon transition goals, managing and communicating associated carbon emissions and reductions throughout project delivery.
Qualifications:
- A solid understanding of professional services and/or the building/property sector.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, capable of engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience in developing and executing communications strategies.
- Proven ability in the tactical management and delegation of communications activities.
- Exemplary behaviors of collaboration, curiosity, contribution, and championing.
- An international perspective.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Additional Requirements:
- A degree or equivalent educational background.
In this role, you will have access to support from the Stakeholder Services Centre of Excellence within Mace.
