About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Duty Nurse Associate to join our award-winning Community Eating Disorders Team for Children and Young People (CYP). This dynamic team provides vital support to young people and their families across Hertfordshire, offering both intensive day treatment and in-reach support within Tier 3 and Tier 4 pathways.
As a Duty Nurse Associate, you will play a crucial role at the front door of our service. Your primary responsibilities include:
- Triaging referrals according to MEED guidelines, ensuring timely and appropriate assessment for young people.
- Liaising with professionals from partner agencies to provide seamless support and signposting for families.
- Offering direct therapeutic support to patients or providing guidance and advice to parents in crisis situations.
- Booking assessments and assisting clinicians with documentation, contributing to the smooth operation of the team.
