About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team at Southern Health NHS Foundation Trust. As a Consultant Psychiatrist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality clinical leadership and care to our patients, as well as contributing to the development and implementation of our mental health services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership and expertise in General Adult Psychiatry
  • Develop and implement effective treatment plans for patients with complex mental health needs
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of our mental health services, including service redesign and quality improvement initiatives
  • Supervise and support junior staff, including medical students and junior doctors
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of care plans for patients
