About the Role

Belfast Central Mission is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Support Worker for Children to join our team. As a key member of our Family Support Service, you will play a vital role in providing holistic support to families with children aged 0-5.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work independently with a caseload of families to assess their individual needs and develop personalized support plans.
  • Provide regular face-to-face meetings with families to promote positive outcomes and support the achievement of shared goals.
  • Collaborate with families to identify and address challenges, and provide practical support to promote the best interests of the children.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with families, community partners, and other stakeholders to ensure a comprehensive support network.
What We Offer
  • A competitive salary of £18,618.60 per annum (£11.935 per hour).
  • 20 days annual leave per annum, plus 12 statutory days.
  • 4% employer pension contribution (after 3 months of service).

Requirements
  • GCSE English or equivalent.
  • Experience of working with families and children aged 0-5.
  • Knowledge of child protection.
