About The Position
Overview of the Opportunity
Gleeds is proud to announce the acquisition of several significant initiatives within the public and central government sectors, providing expert consultancy services.
We are seeking Project Coordinators at various levels, including Senior positions, to enhance our team in the Glasgow office, presenting a remarkable opportunity. You will be part of a supportive environment within a vibrant Project Management team.
Your role will involve overseeing the execution of extensive new construction projects, as well as CAT A, B, and C fit-out works across multiple locations in the North Region. Effective communication and collaboration with colleagues, client representatives, consultants, and contractors are vital for the successful completion of projects.
To be considered for this position, you should possess experience in managing construction projects, preferably with public and central government clients. British Nationality (British Citizen from birth) is essential for security clearance.
It is preferable that you already hold SC clearance or are willing to pursue it during the onboarding process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting Business Unit Directors in meeting business goals
- Engaging constructively with clients, fostering and maintaining relationships
- Delivering top-notch services that align with client expectations
- Managing projects/programs in accordance with business protocols
- Overseeing contracts and project specifics
- Presenting to clients and guiding team members
- Preparing proposals and managing service delivery for profitability
- Advising directors promptly on project-related issues that may affect Gleeds' professional indemnity insurance

About You
Ideal Candidate Profile:
Experience, Knowledge, and Essential Skills
- Experience in project and/or program management
- Practical knowledge of project management methodologies
- Experience in administering construction contracts
- Understanding of building contract legislation
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational abilities
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team
- Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Qualifications:
- MRICS, MAPM, or MCIOB accreditation
