Scientist - Translational Medicine Team

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced scientist to join our Translational Medicine team in our state-of-the-art laboratories. As a key member of our team, you will contribute to the development of cutting-edge cellular therapies and play a crucial role in shaping the future of our company.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to the implementation and development of new assays, ensuring high-quality results and efficient workflows.
  • Run high-level cytometry assays routinely, analyzing and reporting data to inform project decisions.
  • Maintain and QC flow cytometry equipment, ensuring optimal performance and minimizing downtime.
  • Assist colleagues with flow cytometry equipment use, promoting a culture of collaboration and knowledge-sharing.
  • Manage inventory of reagent stocks, ensuring timely ordering and minimizing waste.
  • Prepare precise technical summaries, analytical plans, validation reports, SOPs, and other important documents.
  • Present data at departmental meetings, effectively communicating results and insights to stakeholders.
  • Work independently and collaboratively as part of a team to drive projects to key milestones.
  • Take on general laboratory management tasks aligned with your expertise, contributing to the smooth operation of our laboratories.
Demonstrated Skills and Competencies:
  • Essential:
    • Experience in multi-parametric flow cytometry or equivalent technology (at least 2 years).
    • Experience in the use of flow cytometry analysis-based platforms (FlowJo, BD Diva, FCS Express).
    • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to present results clearly and logically.
    • Committed to delivering high-quality work within a fast-paced work environment.
    • Able to contribute to a culture that embraces scientific excellence, integrity, and continuous improvement.
    • Work well with others in a cross-functional capacity with other members of the Translational Medicine team.
    • Ability to identify and implement solutions.
  • Preferred:
    • Experience working with clinical samples, including whole blood, PBMCs, drug product, and apheresis.
    • Experience in GcP, GScP.
    • Expertise in mammalian cell culture.
    • A good understanding of cell biology and/or immunology.
    • Experience working in a laboratory in a Pharmaceutical or Biotechnology company.
Qualifications:
  • BSc in a relevant discipline.
  • MSc in a relevant discipline.
  • Relevant lab-based experience.
