Senior Arborist Supervisor

The Upex Group is actively seeking a Senior Arborist Supervisor to operate within a dynamic environment on a Full-Time basis.


Compensation:
£35,000 to £45,000 annually

Work Schedule:
Monday to Friday

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and guide a team of 2-3 arborists in both aerial and ground operations, ensuring that all activities are conducted safely and effectively.

Execute and supervise advanced tree climbing and aerial rigging tasks utilizing equipment such as winches, tractor-mounted chippers, log forwarders, and mobile elevated work platforms.

Operate and maintain forestry machinery while ensuring compliance with safety standards and public interaction.

Conduct inspections and maintenance of equipment to guarantee optimal performance.


Qualifications:
  • C&G Level 2 Climb Trees and Perform Aerial Rescue
  • C&G NPTC Level 3 Aerial Tree Rigging
  • NPTC 202 (Formerly CS31) Felling Small Trees Up to 380mm
  • NPTC 304 (Formerly CS32) Tree Felling over 380mm
  • C&G Use of Chainsaw from Rope and Harness
  • NPTC 201/202 Chainsaw Maintenance and Crosscutting & Felling Small Trees (Formerly CS30/31)
  • CS39 Level 2 Chainsaw and Related Operations
  • Woodchipper
  • MEWP Ticket (preferable but not essential)
  • Aerial Rescue First Aid Trauma Certificate (preferable but not essential)
  • Knowledge of health and safety, risk assessment, and tree safety
