About the Role

As a Prisoner Escort Officer at Serco, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and secure transportation of detainees to and from courts, prisons, and police stations. This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires a high level of professionalism, attention to detail, and a commitment to upholding the highest standards of public safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transport detainees safely and securely to and from courts, prisons, and police stations
  • Ensure the care and well-being of detainees during transportation
  • Manage and control all situations, using effective communication and conflict resolution skills
  • Complete paperwork and data entry for the day
  • Accompany defendants in court rooms and cells
  • Search property or people as required

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
