At Serco, we are committed to providing safe and secure court transportation and custody services. As a Prisoner Escort Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the well-being and safety of detainees during transportation and custody.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collect detainees from prisons or police stations and transport them safely and securely to courts
  • Accompany defendants in court rooms and cells, ensuring their physical and mental well-being
  • Search property or people as required, and complete paperwork and data entry for the day
  • Work as part of a crew to provide secure and safe custody services

Requirements:
  • A current driver's license and C1 License (valid CPC card desirable) or D License (with valid CPC card & Tacho Graph desirable)
  • Reasonable fitness and good written and verbal communication skills
