About the Role

The University of Oxford is seeking a highly skilled Postdoctoral Research Associate to join the Physical and Theoretical Chemistry Laboratory. As a key member of the research team, you will work under the supervision of Professor Susan Perkin on the ERC-funded project ELECTROLYTE.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct experimental measurements and theoretical analysis of the physical properties of electrolytes and their interfaces.
  • Develop and maintain laboratory equipment, supervise students, and contribute to the preparation of research manuscripts.
  • Take a leadership role in research themes within the project, collaborating with the research team to achieve project goals.

About You

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced researcher with a strong background in experimental physical chemistry and liquid state physics. You will have excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
