Senior Project Manager - Hybrid Role

Consult Energy UK is seeking a skilled Senior Project Manager to oversee significant energy infrastructure initiatives. This position is ideal for candidates with a robust background in managing high-voltage projects, specifically at 132kV, 275kV, or 400kV levels.

Role Overview:

The Senior Project Manager will play a crucial role in the successful execution of large-scale energy projects. This position requires a blend of leadership, technical acumen, and project management expertise to ensure that all project goals are achieved efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the comprehensive delivery of energy infrastructure projects, ensuring alignment with project objectives.
  • Formulate detailed project plans that encompass timelines, key milestones, resource distribution, and financial oversight.
  • Collaborate with diverse teams, including engineering, procurement, and construction, as well as external partners.
  • Maintain adherence to industry standards, safety regulations, and compliance protocols.
  • Track project progress, proactively identify risks, and develop strategies for risk mitigation.
  • Facilitate clear communication with clients and stakeholders, providing updates and addressing any challenges that arise.
  • Implement continuous improvement strategies to enhance project delivery and outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in project management within the energy sector, particularly with high-voltage projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of electrical infrastructure and transmission systems.
  • Proven capability in managing substantial budgets and resources effectively.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in high-pressure environments and meet stringent deadlines.
  • Familiarity with project management software and methodologies.
