Daniel Owen Ltd is seeking an experienced Gas and Electrical Operations Manager to join their team in North London. The successful candidate will be responsible for the operational delivery of gas and electrical services, including responsive repairs, planned maintenance programs, and major works projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the operational delivery of gas and electrical services, ensuring high-quality outcomes for customers and stakeholders.
- Oversee the management of minor and major works operations, including gas safety activities, supply chain management, and contractor management.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer experience.
- Ensure accurate cost information and effective recovery of claims and costs incurred.
- Review and authorize sub-contract payments within delegated authority.
- Conduct work-in-progress, post-inspection, and health and safety inspections, and implement improvement plans as necessary.
- Provide timely and accurate reports on service performance indicators and progress against targets and budgets.
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and legislative requirements, ensuring compliance and excellence in service delivery.
- Represent the company and liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including standing in for the Head of Minor Works and Compliance as required.
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve high-quality outcomes for the company and customers.
- Develop new solutions and delivery models to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer experience.
- Embed and promote a positive culture for health, safety, and wellbeing (HSW) management across all aspects of work, prioritizing the safety of people, customers, and the public.
