About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Actuarial Pension Consultant to join our team at WTW. As a qualified actuary with experience working on core UK defined benefit pensions actuarial work, you will be responsible for providing expert advice on regular valuations, accounting, PPF levies, individual calculations, and factor reviews.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide actuarial advice on complex pension schemes, including integrated risk management, asset/liability modelling, and mergers and acquisitions.
  • Work closely with clients to understand their business needs and develop tailored solutions.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to deliver high-quality consulting services and contribute to the growth of our GB Retirement practice.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and colleagues, providing exceptional customer service and support.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices, applying this knowledge to improve our services and deliver value to clients.

Requirements:

  • Qualified actuary with experience working on core UK defined benefit pensions actuarial work.
  • Proven experience of project management of large teams and projects.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to apply technical expertise to complex business problems.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and contribute to the growth of our GB Retirement practice.

Location:

As part of our national resourcing approach, you will be able to select any of our GB locations as your office base. You will have the opportunity to work on client teams and with colleagues from other offices, while also benefiting from flexible working arrangements and a hybrid work model.
