About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Occupational Therapist to join our Adult Occupational Therapy Team in Buckinghamshire. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to adults in our community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work in accordance with the Better Lives framework to promote and deliver goal-based support to enable adults to achieve greater independence.
  • Promote equality and treat everyone with fairness and dignity, providing a proactive and personalized approach to care and practice.
  • Respond to adults' needs in a timely manner, focusing on improving their well-being and giving them greater choice and control over their care.
  • Take account of adults' risks and safety at all times, identifying mitigations to reduce that risk and support them to achieve the outcomes that are most important to them.
  • Provide personalized information and advice, safeguarding, assessment, support planning, and review to individuals, families, and their carers.

Requirements

  • A degree or equivalent qualification in Occupational Therapy and registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • A full driving license with access to a vehicle.
  • A commitment to continuous professional development and a willingness to work flexibly to facilitate seven-day working.
  • An understanding of Social Work England's/HCP's professional standards and a commitment to upholding them in your practice.
