Exciting Opportunity for a Clinical Lead Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Lead Nurse to join our team at a leading care home in Whitehaven, Cumbria. As a Clinical Lead Nurse, you will be responsible for leading a team of nursing staff to deliver high-quality care to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of nursing staff to ensure the delivery of excellent care standards
  • Promote independence and dignity for residents while enhancing their quality of life
  • Support the delivery of improvements and drive quality standards to enhance efficiencies in line with CQC guidelines
  • Ensure a welcoming, safe, and engaging environment for residents, employees, and visitors
  • Support the Home Manager and take responsibility for the day-to-day management of the home
Requirements:
  • Experience of managing a team and ensuring staff are supervised appropriately
  • Experience in quality and clinical governance programs, including audit and care services
  • Ability to maintain accurate documentation and resident records while incorporating modern technology
  • Confidence in overseeing medicine management on your shift in accordance with company policies and legislation
  • Ability to support, guide, teach, and mentor others in line with the NMC Code
