We are seeking a skilled and experienced Tanker Driver to join our team at Scottish Water. As a key member of our Inverness area team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of wastewater and sludge across Scotland.
Key Responsibilities- Operate a range of tankers, including rigid and articulated vehicles, to transport wastewater and sludge from treatment sites to designated disposal areas.
- Conduct regular vehicle checks and inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Liaise with fleet management to maintain and repair vehicles, ensuring they are in good working order.
- Work closely with customers to provide a professional and efficient service, ensuring their needs are met and their expectations exceeded.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of processes to optimize tanker usage and reduce waste.
We're looking for someone with strong communication skills, the ability to work independently, and a flexible approach to accommodate changing priorities. A valid CPC card and Cat C license are desirable, but not essential.
