About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Merchandiser to join our George Home team on a fixed-term contract. As a Merchandiser, you will be responsible for delivering a commercial range alongside the Buyer, while also overseeing the planning and weekly trading of your category.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with the Buyer to set the category strategy and deliver the business plan.
  • Drive the business to maximize profit in-season by analyzing sales data and making recommendations for range control, budgeting, and selection.
  • Develop strong relationships with suppliers and manage product critical path and lifecycle to ensure launch availability and full availability on continuity lines.
  • Accurately forecast sales, stock turn, and markdown to achieve maximum profit.
  • Plan markdown activity and work closely with the buying team to further understand customer needs and competitor activity.
