Academy Investment Analyst Program for Emerging Professionals

At Point72, we are committed to developing the next generation of investment professionals. Our Academy Investment Analyst Program is designed to provide students with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in the investment industry.
Program OverviewThe program begins with eight months of formal training, followed by two months of rotations with investment teams or similar roles on our platform. During this time, you will develop sophisticated company analysis and modeling skills, learn statistics, accounting, financial modeling, data analysis, coding, and more.
Key Responsibilities- Develop financial models to understand businesses and their changing dynamics
- Perform company channel checks, attend industry events, build relationships with industry contacts, and analyze data sets
- Constantly develop your skills through coaching from your Portfolio Manager and using Professional Development resources
- Conduct yourself with the highest levels of professionalism, integrity, ethics, and excellence
We welcome students from all academic disciplines. To be eligible, you must be a current student who will graduate from university between December 2024 and July 2025. You should be fascinated by research and problem-solving, relentlessly curious, and constantly expanding your horizons. We are committed to the highest ethical standards and expect you to be highly self-driven and motivated to explore a career in finance.
Application ProcessYour online application, essays, and resume will serve as an introduction to who you are as a candidate. Once you complete the online application, we will begin reviewing your profile. Selected candidates will then receive an email invitation to participate in a case study, allowing you to showcase your experiences and demonstrate your business acumen. Following submission and review of your case study, the next step would be virtual one-on-one interviews with various members of the Academy team, if selected.
