Company: Centre of Excellence Controller
**Job Summary**
We are seeking a highly skilled Centre of Excellence Controller to join our AOG team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing communications across our network, enhancing our AOG management and response, and strengthening our strategic position within the aviation market.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Assist with planning and booking of flights and transport
* Coordinate with internal business units and external suppliers to support AOG recovery
* Provide specialist technical, regulatory, and safety advice to mid-management
* Provide specialist technical, regulatory, and safety direction to operational and support staff
**Personal Attributes**
* Good knowledge of Aircraft systems
* Ability to work under pressure to react to operational requirements and time constraints
* Methodical approach towards planning and organizing
**Working Environment**
The role is based in an office environment at London Gatwick Airport. The normal working day is between 07:00 and 19:00 working a 4/5/5-shift pattern. The role may require travel to the AOG location to provide onsite management and support as required.
**Qualifications, Experience and Knowledge**
* A recognised apprenticeship within the aircraft industry or similar, or Qualified Part66 Licence with a minimum of 5 years' experience, or a University degree relevant to Aircraft Engineering or aviation management
* Have a working knowledge of Aircraft Maintenance Production Planning
**Compensation**
Competitive / £62k basic, plus additional for licence etc.
