About the Role

AWE PLC is seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team as a Quality Assurance Engineer. As a key member of our Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety in our eddy current testing operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Advise on the most suitable NDT techniques to inspect parts, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Develop and implement Eddy Current testing methods and work instructions, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements.
  • Support the development of written technical assessments and contribute to the enhancement of inspection techniques.
  • Engage with stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of NDT activities, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.
  • Work closely with the team to meet company deadlines and targets, maintaining formal NDT certification and enhancing current qualifications.
