About the Role:
Law Absolute Limited is seeking a qualified legal professional to join a prominent public sector organization that oversees the regulation of healthcare practitioners nationwide. This permanent position focuses on the fitness to practise domain, requiring prior experience in a regulatory setting.
Location: The role is based in South Yorkshire, with a requirement to attend the office bi-weekly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial triage and investigations related to fitness to practise.
- Collaborate with team members throughout all phases of the fitness to practise process.
Candidate Requirements:
- Qualified Solicitor, Barrister, or Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives with a minimum of 3 years' Post-Qualification Experience (PQE).
- Proficient in advising on fitness to practise matters, including managing complex and high-profile cases, and reviewing internal compliance policies.
- Desire to contribute to a developing in-house legal services team.
- Willingness to commute to the South Yorkshire office at least once every two weeks.
Compensation: The starting salary for this position is £45,000 per annum, increasing to £47,500 per annum upon successful completion of the initial probationary period.
