About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Clinical Pharmacist to join our team at Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust. As a Clinical Pharmacist, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our pharmacy services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the clinical medicines management of patients with mental health challenges, working closely with inpatient multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective use of medicines.
  • Support the education and training of medicines matters for CPFT staff and service users.
  • Participate in medicines management schemes on the wards, including patients own drugs, self-administration, medicines reconciliation, and medicines supply.
  • Provide bespoke patient-centred pharmacy care to anyone that requires it from anywhere in the service.
  • Support prescribing in line with evidence-based practice, following local and national guidelines.
