About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Early Years Practitioner to join our team at Bright Horizons Hatch End Day Nursery and Preschool. As a Bank Early Years Practitioner, you will have the flexibility to work on a part-time basis, blending the convenience of Bank / Locum / Agency work with the security and benefits of being an employee.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support Nursery colleagues in delivering high-quality Early Years education, engaging children in entertaining and educational play and activities, and ensuring their safety throughout the day.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to maintain a positive, happy, and safe environment, adhering to nursery demands and hygiene standards.
  • Promote and ensure child welfare, protection, health, and safety, and safeguarding.
  • Contribute to the development of children's skills and abilities, encouraging them to reach their full potential.

Requirements

  • Previous experience working with children in a nursery or similar setting.
  • Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child.
  • Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with both children and adults.
  • Sound understanding of child protection and the safeguarding of children.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of the nursery and its children.
