An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Clinical Deputy Manager to join our team in an exceptional intensive care unit based in the Burton-on-Trent area. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be working for one of the UK's leading healthcare providers.
About the Role:This is a unique service that provides care for older people, focusing on rehabilitation and palliative care. As the Deputy Manager, your key responsibilities will include:
- Assisting the Service Manager in providing leadership to staff to deliver high-quality care within a safe working environment.
- Coordinating and leading the nursing team to provide person-centered care and support, promoting dignity, privacy, safety, and independence.
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory and legislative requirements at all times.
- Liaising with external health professionals to ensure the smooth running of the nursing units.
- Providing clinical leadership and supervision within the service.
- Accountability for infection control implementation and audit throughout the service.
We are looking for a candidate with:
- Previous experience as a Deputy Manager, Clinical Lead, Senior Nurse, or Nurse.
- Experience in supporting the elderly with rehabilitation and palliative care.
- A strong knowledge of person-centered care.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- IT skills, with experience in electronic care plans and medication systems.
We offer a competitive salary of £22.00 per hour, with an annual salary of £31,460. This is a permanent part-time role, working 27.5 hours a week. In addition, we offer:
