Job Opportunity: Clinical Deputy Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Clinical Deputy Manager to join our team in an excellent intensive care unit based in the Burton-on-Trent area. As a key member of our team, you will be working for one of the UK's leading healthcare providers, delivering high-quality care to older people.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Service Manager in providing leadership to staff to deliver the highest possible quality of care within a safe working and living environment.
  • Coordinate and lead the nursing team to provide high-quality, person-centred care and support, promoting dignity, privacy, safety, and independence.
  • Comply with all regulatory and legislative requirements at all times.
  • Ensure the smooth and effective running of the Nursing units within the home and liaise with external health professionals.
  • Provide Clinical Leadership and supervision within the Service.
  • Have full accountability for Infection Control implementation and audit throughout the service.
Requirements:
  • Qualified as a Registered Nurse with a current active NMC Pin.
  • Experience of supporting the elderly with rehabilitation and palliative care.
  • Strong knowledge of person-centred care.
  • IT skills - our care plans and medication system are electronic and full training will be provided.
What We Offer:
  • An excellent salary of £22.00 per hour, with an annual salary of £31,460 per annum.
  • A permanent part-time role working 27.5 days per year.
