About the Role

Fife Council is seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our Area Housing Team as a Housing Management Officer. In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering improved services and ensuring high-quality, well-run estates across Fife.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess the needs of individuals, properties, and neighbourhoods to develop solutions that promote stable communities and sustain tenancies.
  • Deliver high-quality landlord services, engaging with customers and partners to drive improvements and maintain estate standards.
  • Provide excellent customer care while encouraging local people to maintain estate standards.
  • Work collaboratively with tenants, partners, and other stakeholders to achieve shared goals and objectives.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of Scottish Secure and Short Scottish Secure Tenancies.
  • Experience of working with a range of supports available to tenants.
  • Partnership working experience when managing tenancies.
  • Commitment to assisting tenants to sustain their tenancy while taking action against any breaches of tenancy.
  • Good time management, communication, and organisational skills.
  • IT skills.
  • SCQF level 5 or equivalent education qualification.
  • Homepoint 2 qualification (if not already held).
